What you'll need before you get started:
You will need the following information to file a claim:
5 digit Toyota Dealer Number
Full VIN of the Rent a Toyota Vehicle Involved in the Accident
Date of Loss or the date you discovered/noticed the damage, if the actual Date of Loss is unknown.
The State where the Accident Occurred
Name and Phone Number of the Renter*
*NOTE: If your claim involves an employee "behind the wheel" at the time of loss, you'll need to provide the name and contact information of the employee that was utilizing/driving the vehicle.
You will need the following information to file a Lot Damage claim that involves multiple vehicles (i.e., on-lot hail damage):
Full VIN of each damaged Rent a Toyota Vehicle involved in the loss.
Date of Loss (i.e., date of weather event)
In order to expedite your claim process, always attach the following documentation to your new loss report:
• Open and Closed Copy of Associated Rent a Toyota Rental Agreement (front and back of each) for Customer Loss
• Completed Rent a Toyota Non-Revenue Ticket for Employee Loss
• Police or Theft Report - if Available
